My Crackberry Storm Applications
| December 11th, 2008
I’ve have been checking the web for applications that are ready to run on my crackberry storm. As you probably figured out from my posting yesterday, I am more then ready to throw money at any and all apps that take advantage of the storm and it’s touch screen and accelerometers. After purusing the many application sites for the Blackberry, I have started to take stock of what is out there for us cuaght in the perfect storm. Here is a sampling of my investigation.
So It breaks this way:
Some apps that have been ported and work well
Some apps that have been ported but are still in BETA
Some apps that say they are not for my crackberry storm but I installed them anyway and they”seem” to work
The rest of the applications
Check out the list of apps after the jump
Here are some apps that work with My Crackberry Storm. I have installed a trial version of them and they seemed to work on My Crackberry Storm
- Viigo - Still in BETA. everything seesm to work. Just remember to hold the “back button” down until the screen completes it’s slide.
- Peekawho - Storm Ready
- Aerize Email Alerts - Storm Ready
- more to come I promise!

Hey, all the apps on this site: http://www.bemobilesanta.com are supported on Storm. What do you think of them?
Nav4All works great, including the GPS features with my Storm on Verizon running the BB .85 OS.
This mapping program has a ton of features, and is free.
